I bought Off Like the Wind for my grandsons for next Christmas. It is a wonderful book, the story very well written for year olds, and the art work is beautiful.

I love stories of the old west myself and thought this was an exceptional book. One that I would love to have in my personal collection.5/5(4).

OFF LIKE THE WIND, The First Ride of the Pony Express is a prime example of a true account that holds more thrills than any fictional cowboy tale could possibly offer. Illustrated by Layne Johnson's oil paintings this is a book that young ones will want in their libraries and perhaps some day pass on to children of their own/5.

This is a book to book to treasure!. With a fabulous, fun, heart warming story, starring two lovely characters in Breeze and Bhodi, Like the Wind has completely won my heart.

This is a story which I will return to regularly, especially if I need a pick-me-up/5(). The Guide for Off Like the Wind was created by was created by Tracie Vaughn Zimmer, a reading specialist and children’s author.

DNF From the blurp and about 50% of the book, I thought this book is more like about Mariana Zapata's book. Slow burns and heavy on character development. Heavy flirting. Cute banter. Broody hero. Especially Bodhi is suppose to be this famous rock star. But I found the story is bit off/5.

Both “Gone With the Wind”, the movie, and “Gone With the Wind”, the book, tell an epic story of life in Georgia at the time of the Civil War and Reconstruction Era and the effect of the war on the life of a spoiled Southern belle, Scarlett O’Hara.

the book Gone with The Wind, is better than the description of the quality on the website, I was not sure what was meant by Library quality now I know it means the cover is stronger the pages are clearer and cleaner, it will make a great addition to my collection of books I have formerly read, it was protected in the shipping very well and arrived much sooner than I thought It would.
